Cookie Policy
Version 2026-09-25
In short
In one sentence: Cavengo uses cookies needed to work — keeping you signed in, remembering which panel you were on, and blocking bots — plus two optional audience cookies, only set after you accept the banner shown on your first visit. There is no advertising cookie and no third-party tracking.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file the site stores in your browser so it can recognise the same person from one page to the next. Without it, every click would be a stranger starting from scratch — you would be signed out on every page.
2. Necessary cookies
Every cookie below is strictly necessary for the platform to work. That is why we do not ask for consent for them: the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive (art. 5(3)) waive consent for a cookie without which the service you asked for does not function.
- Access session — keeps you signed in after you log in. Without it there is no signed-in area. It lasts until you sign out or the session expires.
- Active panel — for people with more than one facet, it remembers which panel you were on. It stores only that choice, and the choice is checked against your memberships on every read.
- Anti-bot check — set by Cloudflare in the login and sign-up challenge, to tell a person from a bot. It is security, not audience measurement.
- Early access — while the platform is in pre-launch, it marks the browser allowed to see the pages. It disappears at public opening.
- Cookie consent — stores your answer to the banner (accept or decline), so we do not ask again on every page. Without it the consent request itself would not work. Lasts one year.
3. Audience cookies (ask for your consent)
Two cookies measure visits and where they come from, and are only set after you accept the banner shown on your first visit:
- Pages seen today — avoids counting twice someone who reloads the same page. It does not identify you: it is a short list, kept only in your browser, that disappears on its own after two days.
- Referral origin — for up to thirty minutes, remembers which page (for example, an influencer's or an agency's) you arrived from, to credit the referral correctly.
4. What we do not use
We use no advertising, remarketing, social network or individual behaviour analysis cookie. There is no third-party pixel on the pages, and no audience cookie is sent to third parties or matched against your account.
The platform's visit counts are aggregated by day and by page — how many visits a public page received, and where they came from — without building a browsing profile of an identified person.
5. How to refuse
Necessary cookies (section 2) have no refusal option inside the platform: blocking them in your browser prevents login and use of the signed-in area, but the public part of the site remains accessible.
Audience cookies (section 3) appear in the banner on your first visit, with a "Decline" button the same size and in the same place as "Accept" — declining is as easy as accepting, and it limits no function of the platform. To change your mind later, delete the site's cookies in your browser settings: the banner appears again on your next visit.
